I'm Emmy. I'm a seminary student, intern pastor, and gay woman with a deep sense of God's love and an ear to the heart of the world.

This Tumblr is a grab-bag of things that make me laugh and smile and weep and think and get angry and believe in something better. And pictures of my cat.

I work for full inclusion for LGBTQ people in the church, and my understanding of the world leads me to a lot of thoughts about doing church differently.

I love to read. Sometimes I preach.
