Seimone Augustus, Missy Higgins, LP.
Perfect day.  The Lynx won, with Maya Moore putting up some serious points and the arena full of screaming day-camp kids.  The Tulsa Shock played dirty and the refs bought way too many weak fouls, but the girls hung together and it was phenomenal to watch from the third row.  (Shoutout to swirlspice for hooking me up with a friend who couldn’t use today’s season tickets.)
Kristi and I trucked out to Maynard’s in Excelsior, to Cities 97’s Oake on the Water.  Missy Higgins played some stuff off her new album.  She is ridiculously gorgeous and the new LP is phenom.  So psyched to buy it next week.
Speaking of LPs, the second act tonight was LP, a singer-songwriter (mostly songwriter) out of New York.  She blew us out of the freakin’ water.  She has an amazing rough and rumble voice with a phenomenal vibrato, high range, & breath support.
All in all, definitely a day I needed.  Now, off to finish (…start) a 10-page paper…
