anthropoidia reblogged your post: jamiesugah: Now that Halloween is over, most of…

I was not aware that they actively discriminate. I thought they were more in the “we disapprove, but we don’t turn away the hungry” camp. Argh.

Did you check the link?  I think there are more cases like that — where gay couples were actively denied help unless they split up, trans* people were housed with the wrong gender, etc.

thisepiscopallife:

i have found the tumblr of my people.

Once an Episcopalian, always a genuflecting incense-burning liturgy-loving liberal.

- Anyone telling you that the above makes you a lesser-than Episcopalian :)

(Cursillo is a three-day leadership formation event for lay people, with priests as spiritual guides to the event.)

I ask because I find it very difficult to do myself, and I thought maybe reaching out to another queer person of faith might help. All the best, I really enjoy your blog, and many blessings!

Well hi!  Welcome, and stuff.  It’s taken me a while to recognize my own belovedness, but here are the things that hold me up on a daily basis.
